The Artist Takes Tea Time to a New Level in Her Micropaintings

On January 3, 2015, artist Ruby Silvious embarked on an artistic journey: every day in the coming year, she decided, would be recorded on a single tea bag. Using pens, paints, and paste, Silvious created an evocative series of pint-sized pieces affectionately titled 363 Days of Tea. Sometimes whimsical and always captivating, each piece is a testament to ever-expanding borders of illustration as a medium.
